IPhone and iPod Touch owners can now download a free application providing them with access to all of Comcast’s services.
The entertainment, information and communications provider’s email, visual voicemail, address book and Comcast on Demand services will now be accessible through Apple’s devices.
Features of the new application include being able to check television listings for the week ahead and watch on-demand movie trailers.
There is also a universal address book that allows users to add pictures to their favourite contacts.
Cathy Avgris, senior vice-president and general manager of Comcast Wireless and Voice Services, commented: "The Comcast mobile app brings together our communications, information and entertainment products in one place.
"Having it as a mobile download means our customers can take their Comcast services with them even when they’re not at home."
It follows the launch of a new mobile application by online supermarket Ocado, which enables iPhone users to make shopping lists and order their shopping while on the move.
