London listings magazine Time Out has launched its new application for iPod Touch and iPhone users, which will show events close to the user’s location.
The culture magazine has been running for around 40 years and will help people in London find a favourite restaurant or some entertainment when they are in an unknown area of the city.
Restaurants can be sorted by area, price and the type of cuisine that they offer, while critics’ choices can also be shown.
Addresses and phone numbers can easily be copied so that then bookings can be made.
The iPod Touch’s excellent connectivity with Facebook and Twitter will also allow users to share events with friends so that they can be recommended to others.
iPod Touch users can also use the Inspire Me screen, which will select a random event with a simple shake of the device.
Visitors to New York will also find their Apple device comes in handy thanks to the American version of the application.
