Business people will now be able to keep their professional network in the palm of their hands thanks to a new application for the iPhone.
The LinkedIn programme, which is now available to download from the App Store, includes a completely new search interface, making it easier for users to find people whether they are in their connections list or not.
Revamped profile screen offer users a quick summary of details about the person, a review of their education and experience and a list of the people they both know in common.
A new ‘favourites’ function has also been included, which means that people can be found through the application in a matter of seconds, while updates can be filtered so that only wanted information is received on a regular basis.
Social networking iPhone users can also make use of the device’s Facebook application to keep in touch with friends, while there are also a number of programmes in the App Store for use with Twitter.
