Wii title dances to top of the charts

Nintendo Wii’s Just Dance title has kept its place at number one in the gaming charts, beating off competition from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The all-action dance game first slid onto the Dancefloor quietly eight weeks ago at number 100. However, the beat is now louder and the tempo has been increased as it has jived its way to the top of the charts.

Nintendo also has cause for celebration, with four other titles being placed in the top ten, including Wii Fit Plus at number three and Wii Sports Resort at number five.

Modern Warfare 2 is still shooting off the other competition tho, having sold 4.7 million copies in its first 24 hours on sale, it is still the best-selling full price title and is second behind Just Dance.

Army of Two: The 40th Day, Fifa 10, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game are also flying high in the gaming charts, while titles such as Football Manager 2010 and Forza Motorsport climbed this week.ADNFCR-2524-ID-19578951-ADNFCR
