FreeAppaDay.com provides a newsletter, keeping iPod Touch fans up-to-date with which programmes are free on a certain day, while its updates can also be followed on Twitter.
The FreeAppCalendar website gives gamers a list of over 20 applications, with the ones receiving the most votes being available free of charge.
Furthermore, the BargainBin application lets users hunt for free games from a dedicated source on their phone.
Currently, Ow My Balls!, Vampires Live and Penalty Soccer are in the top five of the App Store’s free applications chart.
