Sony PS3 Upgrade

Good news if you are thinking of a Sony PS3 upgrade.  Sony PlayStation 3 owners may soon be able play all their favourite PlayStation 2 titles on their new console.

 

A patent discovered by Siliconera reveals that Sony bought the details of a method to emulate PS2 games on the newer console, that could pave the way for titles to be both downloaded or played on disc.

Music for Xbox – Rock Band and Streaming

If you want music for Xbox well there you have it. Three exclusive Green Day tracks will be added to the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3 networks for the Rock Band Music Store.

 

The tracks can be downloaded through any of the consoles’ networks in an exclusive partnership between MTV Games Harmonix and Green Day’s label, Warner Music Group.

 

Green Day, who have sold nearly 50 million records worldwide and won several accolades including three Grammys, will no doubt prove popular among gamers.

Ipod Video – Is it worth the Hype?

IPod and iPhone owners have been given plenty to celebrate this week, with rumours suggesting that future models will have a video camera.

 

A source in Asia has told TechCrunch that Apple has placed a massive order for some camera modules.

 

Based on the size of the order, the source suggested that the cameras will be used for future iPods.

 

Apple may also be set to offer cameras on lower end models of the iPod, with the source even suggesting the camera could be incorporated into the iPod Shuffle.
